The Preschool (Bd) Room provides places for up to 16 children with 3 permanent staff members.

In this room, the children are introduced to a variety of new experiences planned to further develop their growing language, cognitive and physical abilities and social and emotional development. The children are also encouraged to develop a greater sense of self and are supported to achieve greater independence. Interwoven into the daily activities is our Transition to School Program for those children who are moving onto big school the following year.

The Preschool Rooms have a strong focus on preschool learning. The program nurtures children in self-esteem, well being & development.

Planned learning is aimed at promoting children’s critical thinking, stimulating their investigative, problem solving & exploration skills. Through play-based activities children are encouraged to expand their knowledge and skills in literacy, numeracy and socialisation.
