The Centre has 5 rooms, the Lillypilly Room, Seastar Room, Bandicoot Room, Banksia Room and the Melaleuca Room.

The Centre operates Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.00pm. The Melaleuca Room operates from within the Tomaree Community Centre, visiting the main Centre daily.

Salamander Child Care Centre provides morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack if necessary. A healthy, nutritious and yummy weekly menu is carefully planned by our cooks. Each child is provided with a range of fruit and vegetables to eat each day as well as plenty of milk, water and a variety of homemade hot and cold meals made with fresh ingredients. We encourage children to try new foods with lots of praise! The daily menu is planned following NSW Department of Health dietary guidelines. If your child has allergies, staff will work in collaboration with you in developing a plan to manage their allergies whilst attending the Centre.

Our Centre is guided by the National Curriculum and incorporates preschool learning across all rooms.
