Mark Sutton (AKA The Gamer)
Hello everyone,
My name is Mark Sutton and I joined the Salamander Child Care Centre in 2022 after Kaaren and I crossed back to the mainland after living in Tassie for Nine years in a village called Westbury in the north which is around thirty minutes from Launceston.
Before our Tasmanian stay, I lived in suburbs around Lake Macquarie. Kaaren and I have five children and eleven grandchildren and our family have been connected with the Salamander area through weekend stays and holidays at the Water Wonderland Caravan Park.
Kaaren and I are now living at Salamander Bay, so becoming attached and moving to this village and community was an easy choice.
I am Diploma trained and being part of the SCC team is a truly valuable asset for developing my career and supporting all children to participate in everyday life and construct their identities and understandings of their world.
My interests outside Salamander Early Education are of course family, and also fishing, music, bike riding and golf.
