Tammi Ellis (AKA the snuggler)

​I am a proud mother of 2 teenagers, a boy and a girl, and I am a bit of an explorer. 😊 I am South African born and bred, but after having my 2 children went to live in England for just over 10 years. We then moved to beautiful Australia in February 2018.

When living in the UK I volunteered at my sons preschool and loved it so much I studied towards my cert 3 and stayed at the preschool for 6 years until we moved here. Since joining SCCC I have been working in the Lillypilly room and I am loving every moment. I feel privileged to be a part of the incredible development that takes place in the first 2 years of life and being able to celebrate so many firsts with the children and their families. I know that babies this young need lots of cuddles and comfort throughout their day and I am very happy to oblige. Its very hard to have a “bad day at the office” when your day is filled with chubby arms reaching for a cuddle and gummy smiles.
When I am not at work, or taxiing my own children around, you will find me enjoying a sunset walk on Birubi with my 2 fur babies or watching a good game of Rugby Union.
